Santa's little helpers will be collecting donations and handing out SantaSkate vouchers regularly on the LFNS and Sunday Strolls leading up to the event. Look out for those wearing the Santa hats!

Santa Suit Pick up Point: The Victoria Public House on Strathearn Place, London, W2 2NH

Time: 2-4pm, Sat 19th December

SantaSkate Start Point:

Wellington Arch, Hyde Park Corner, London, W1

Times: Assemble 4:45pm
Depart 5:00pm
Return 7:00pm (approximately)

Half time stop at Trafalgar Square 6:00pm (approximately)

Route:

The SantaSkate route always aims to take in some of our favourite parts of central London in particular as many Christmas lights and cheer as possible! The route map will be available to preview or print nearer to the date however it will be subject to slight changes to cater for events and roadworks.

Distance: Between 9 and 10 miles
Numbers: Between 300-500 skaters
Difficulty: Intermediate. Please ensure that you can stop and turn

This should not be your first street skate but don't let that put you off, you still have plenty of time to get some practice in. We recommend you contact www.skatefresh.com whose excellent instructors will have you wheeling about in no time. (This is not a plug, we're not associated, we just know they're good!)

IN THE EVENT OF POOR WEATHER

  • The skate will be postponed until Sunday 20th at 2pm, failing that Tuesday 22th at 8pm.
  • Exchange of vouchers for costumes and The Serpentine Road Xmas bash will take place as planned on Saturday 19th Dec.
